Elouise's mother could not be more radiant with happiness to see her daughter mastering the art of walking even though the doctors told her she could not. Bethan Simpson, 27, of Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex, could not be more proud to see her daughter, Elouise, now one year old, take her first steps. Before she was born, Bethan was told that her daughter had Spina Bifida and that she would not be able to walk because her spine was not developing properly. During her pregnancy, Bethan was offered an abortion twice, but she turned them down and now Elouise is achieving her goals.
