Russia denounces U.S. sanctions against its scientific centers as illegal competition

Russia considers that the US sanctions against several of its scientific centers are absurd and their main objective would be to carry out unfair competition, due to the fact that one of the institutions affected by those measures participated in the development of the Sputnik V vaccine against covid-19. For its part, Washington justified the decision by the suspicion that these entities could have links to the development of chemical and biological weapons.
