What we know about the suspected case of monkeypox in Puerto Vallarta

A U.S. citizen with suspected monkeypox escaped from a private hospital in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, and then from Mexico. The patient, 48 years old and originally from the state of Texas, fled the sanatorium despite having received instructions from the medical staff that he should be tested and kept in isolation.
