"Urban Myths" Trailer Shows Joseph Fiennes As Michael Jackson

British television network Sky Arts has released the first trailer for its upcoming "Urban Myths" series, offering viewers a glimpse of actor Joseph Fiennes playing Michael Jackson. The casting of Fiennes, a white English actor, as Jackson was criticized widely when it was announced last year, with the actor defended himself to The Associated Press, saying the project does not promote stereotyping. According to a statement by the network, the comedy series looks at "remarkable stories from well-known historical, artistic and cultural figures, which may or may not have happened in real life." In the trailer Michael Jackson sits in a car driven by Elizabeth Taylor, played by Stockard Channing, as part of an episode that details a supposed road trip taken by Jackson, Taylor and Marlon Brando in 2001.
