Shallow Hal Star Joshua Shintani Dies

Shallow Hal star Joshua Shintani has passed away at the age of 32.TMZ is reporting that the Hawaiian native went to the ER last week where he was diagnosed with an advanced case of pneumonia. Unfortunately, he did not did not recover for the illness. Shintani was discovered when director Peter Farrelly was vacationing in Hawaii and spotted the then high school senior playing the ukulele. In the movie, Joshua shot to fame after appearing in a scene with Jack Black playing “Never Forget Where I’m From.”
