Lady Gaga’s #Oscar Nominations Make History

In 2018, Lady Gaga graced the silver screen with her leading role in 'A Star Is Born.' The 91st Annual Academy Awards announced all nominees Tuesday morning. UpRoxx reports the Bradley Cooper-directed music-centered movie made the cut, and Gaga has made history. Lady Gaga has been nominated for Best Actress and Best Original Song (for “Shallow”) in the same year, the first woman to ever do so. "Shallow” is a duet with Cooper, who is now the first man to be nominated for both Best Actor and Best Original Song. Gaga’s competition for Best Original Song includes Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s 'Black Panther' song “All The Stars,” among others.
