Zoren Miguel was returning from kindergarten with his grandmother when he was attacked.

Miguel, 5 years old, remains in a delicate condition in the hospital with damage to his face and skull. Although the Public Prosecutor's Office has not made a public statement on the matter, both Zoren's father and the dog's owner were notified by the Public Prosecutor's Office that they will have to wait ten days to rule out that the dog could have a disease and, if not, to determine whether or not it has to be euthanized.
