Commuters Watch in Horror as Madrid Metro Train Floods

Unverified footage appears to show commuters in shock as water cascaded down the windows of a Madrid metro train. It’s the worst flood Madrid has experienced since 1972. Spain experienced severe rainstorms over the weekend, with Madrid experiencing some of the worst weather. Train lines had to be shut down, and football games were cancelled as citizens were ordered to stay indoors. In north eastern Spain the banks of the river Ebro flooded. Cars were stuck in flash floods in Arganda del Rey, near Madrid.
