Alert, Ibuprofen can be deadly if combined with this drug

The Pharmacovigilance Risk Assessment Committee (PRAC) recommended, at its last monthly meeting, a change in the package insert of drugs that combine codeine and ibuprofen to include a warning of "serious harm, including death, especially when taken for prolonged periods at doses higher than recommended.
