#VIRAL: Dog rescued from a frozen river

Nikki Sheldon, 57, from Wyandotte (Michigan, USA), was walking along the Detroit River when she spotted a disoriented dog on a block of ice in the distance. The American quickly looked for a solution to help the dog, whose name was Lucy. While looking for Lucy, Nikki spotted her on the ice of the Detroit River nearby. Within minutes, local firefighters were on the scene to help rescue Lucy to safety, pulling the block of ice closer to her ladder and retrieving the frightened dog.
