Texas Governor warns of risks of open borders

In the U.S., Texas Governor Greg Abbott will visit the city of Weslaco, on the border with Mexico, on Thursday to address the immigration crisis and drug cartel smuggling. Abbott says Joe Biden's immigration policies encourage minors to undertake a risky journey that exposes them to human trafficking. The governor plans to discuss Operation Lone Star, launched in early March to prevent drug and human trafficking.
