Helicopters assist firefighters tackling #Beirut port blaze

Firefighters continued their attempts to extinguish the blaze at Beirut's port, on Thursday, even deploying a helicopter to assist them from the air. The firefighters could be seen tackling the fire up close, using multiple fire trucks. In addition, at least one firefighter could be seen receiving medical attention. The blaze occurred just over a month after the city was rocked by a series of explosions on August 4, killing at least 190 people, injuring 6,500, and displacing over 300,000. The blasts triggered violent protests which forced the previous cabinet to resign.
