Dozens killed and millions affected by rain in Asia

After causing chaotic floods and landslides in Nepal, three swollen rivers overflowed into northeastern India and flooded part of the region, killing 130 people and paralyzing the lives of nearly two million people. Some 200,000 people have left their flooded houses in the state of Bihar, said Pratata Amrit, a member of the Indian government. Of these, 50,000 took refuge in 152 aid camps managed by the state. In Nepal, at least 67 people were killed and 30 others are still missing after being dragged by water or buried by mudslides since monsoon rains began to punish the region on Friday, according to Nepalese authorities. On the other hand, in Bangladesh, at least 29 people, mostly peasants, died after being struck by lightning. In the Pakistani sector of Cahcemira died 18 people, while in India a building collapsed after several days of rain in the mountainous region of Himachal Pradesh (north), killing 14 people, 13 of them soldiers
