Punished by Mexico to the United States in case of tuna

The World Trade Organization (WTO) authorized the Government of Mexico to impose trade retaliation on United States amounting to 163.23 million dollars annually by the US systematic blockade at the entrance of Mexican tuna. Although the initial request of the Mexicans was impose a monetary penalty on Americans of $ 472.3 million, the multilateral agency authorized only the previous figure. After almost nine years of disputes before the WTO, Mexico managed to be allowed this measure, known as retaliation, before systematic breach of United States to adopt the resolutions of the Organization, which showed that the U.S. Government violated international trade rules
