Fury of Sakurajima volcano on the island of Kyushu (Japan)

Sakurajima is an active volcano which is located on the island of Kyushu, Kagoshima prefecture, south of the country. On this island are the premises of the Sendai nuclear plant, run by Kyushu Electric Power, which resumed operations last year after it was closed along with the rest of the nuclear plants in Japan following the earthquake and tsunami that struck the country in March 2011.
