Google Doodle - Who is Lucy the Australopithecus?

There will be a Google Doodle about Lucy the Australopithecus on November 24th, 2015. Google celebrates the 41st anniversary of the AL 288-1 fossil (Lucy). Lucy was discovered in 1974 in Ethiopia by Donald Johanson. The fossil "Lucy" (AL 288-1) is an early australopithecine and is dated to about 3.2 million years ago. They found 40 percent of the skeleton of a female hominin species Australopithecus afarensis.
