Google Doodle of Charles Dickens

Charles Dickens was born on the 7th of February, 1812. Google honours him for the 200th birthday with a Doodle on his homepage. Charles Dickens was second of eight children. In 1823 the father could not nourish the big family any more and came to the debt prison of London. The mother moved with seven brothers and sisters in the prison. Only Charles Dickens lived outside to earn the maintenance for the family. He worked in a warehouse. This experience inspired him to some passages in his novel "David Copperfield".
