Just received the New Year in New York

The iconic New York Times Square, amid the laughter and cheers of more than one million people, another year witnessed the fall of the crystal ball to welcome 2014. Despite the freezing temperatures, the crowd gathered in the square shouted for joy when the Supreme Court justice, Sonia Sotomayor, born in New York's Bronx Borough, finally triggered the down button of the famous luminous ball. Attendees sang loudly celebrate the countdown to the arrival of the year, it was received with a shower of confetti and shouts of celebration, which began after the fireworks.
