Cairo: Images Of Beaten Woman Spark Outrage - Deadly clashes between protesters and the military in Cairo have continued for a third day, leaving at least 10 people dead - as images of a partially-clothed woman being beaten by security personnel sparked outrage. Hundreds have been injured since Friday as anger intensifies over the Egyptian military's grip on power. Activists say most of those killed died of gunshot wounds. Soldiers in riot gear were filmed beating protesters with batons and long sticks even after they had fallen to the ground. One clip filmed on Saturday shows an attack on a woman whose veil has been partially removed to expose her bra. The woman - who on social networking sites has been referred to variously as Tahrir Woman and Blue Bra Girl - has been held up as the latest symbol of opposition protests. The footage, which has been widely broadcast online, shows troops beating the woman with clubs and aiming kicks at her limp body before dragging her along the ground. One man is seen stamping on her chest. Other security officers attack a man who appears to have tried to help her.
