Chris Mavinga Kung Fu Kicks Mehdi Carcela in the Face

In the last game of the season, Racing Genk won their third Belgian title after snatching a 1-1 draw at home to rivals Standard Liege. But the match itself would be only a footnote in world soccer reports if it wasn%u2019t for the horrible challenge of Genk%u2019s defender Chris Mavinga (on loan from Liverpool) on Standard Liege%u2019s winger Mehdi Carcela. Quite possibly one of the worst challenges ever. With 26 minutes on the clock, Carcela ran down the right side and went to head the ball in front of him, when Mavinga came in and went all kung fu on him. Carecela instantly fell down unconscious and had to be carried out on a stretcher while his teammates watched in shock. He regained consciousness during the halftime and according to initial reports is lucky to get away only with broken jaw, several broken teeth and severe damage to his nose. I mean really, he is lucky to still have his head on his shoulders!
