Judge Attacked by Defendant in Her Own Courtroom

A judge was attacked in her own courtroom. The defendant Deobra Reddon can be seen on camera leaping over the bench at Nevada’s Clark County District Judge Mary Kay Holthus. It happened as she was sentencing him for attempted battery, which he pleaded guilty to. Holthus was hurt as well as a courtroom marshal trying to protect her. Reddon was booked on new charges including battery of a protected person.
