Woman Found Guilty of Killing Friend With Eye Drops

A Wisconsin woman was found guilty of killing her friend by poisoning her with eye drops. Prosecutors say Jessy Kurczhewski, 39, poisoned Lynn Hernan, tried to stage it as a suicide and defrauded the victim out of more than $290,000. According to a criminal complaint, police found crushed medication on the victim’s chest and on a plate nearby. However, the medical examiner says the woman died from an overdose of tetrahydrozoline.
