Fidel joined a cult and performed strange rituals in the basement of the house, which caused concern among his grandparents. One day the police were called after the family's disappearance and discovered a grisly scene: Fidel's grandparents were dead, with stakes in their chests, and Fidel was found hanging from a chain with a disturbing message. Later occupants reported paranormal activity.
