Armed group kidnaps mayor of Cotija, Michoacán

Little is known about the reasons for the kidnapping of the mayor of Cotija, Michoacán, Yolanda Sánchez Figueroa. Over the weekend an armed group in Zapopan, Jalisco, picked up the mayoress outside a shopping mall who had previously received death threats. Jalisco authorities say they are working on the case but do not know her whereabouts. Hiram Espinoza de los Monteros reports.
