German authorities investigate Maria Fernanda's disappearance

The Mexican Ambassador to Germany, Francisco Quiroga met with the parents of Maria Fernanda Sanchez Castañeda, the Mexican student who disappeared in Berlin. He assured that this is not the first time they have had such a case. "We will put our links with the authorities at the service of the parents," he explained. "In Germany, since the pandemic, there has been an increase in cases of voluntary disappearance by migrants who are the ones who experience the most stressful situations. We have programs to support the mental health of Mexicans".
