BRAVE man stops his truck to tackle suspect fleeing from police in Tulsa. An enthusiastic citizen in Tulsa, Oklahoma, stopped his truck and tackled a suspect who was running away from officers on Thursday, July 13, the Tulsa Police Department said. This footage released by police shows officers chasing the runaway suspect down a sidewalk when a man wearing an orange T-shirt jumps out of his truck and tackles the man. The suspect was arrested for resisting arrest and other pre-existing felony warrants, the police said. Police wrote on Facebook, “We love our citizens and greatly appreciate all the support that we get from you,” but reminded locals, “Please put your own safety first before engaging with any nefarious characters.”
