Iconic tourism highway in Xinjiang reopens after 8-month closure

A famous tourism highway in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region reopened to traffic on June 18, 2023, after an eight-month closure. Visitors can once again enjoy the natural scenery of rivers, snow-capped mountains, forests and grasslands along the way and experience the different scenery of the north and south of the Tianshan mountains.
