Suspected Chinese spy balloon spotted over United States

Here's a look at the suspected Chinese spy balloon being tracked by NORAD over the Western U.S. A senior defense official said the U.S. did get fighter jets ready to shoot down the balloon, however, the Pentagon ultimately recommended against it. Officials noted that even as the balloon was over a sparsely populated area of Montana, its size would create a large debris field that could have put people at risk.
