Tourists Trapped Near Machu Picchu Due to Protests in Peru

It’s a historic attraction that people from all over the world travel to see, but tourists have found themselves stuck in the town that leads to the site. The Peruvian government has closed Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail indefinitely due to protests in the country, which stem from the expulsion of President Pedro Castillo.
