CONTEXT: Foreigner Nearly Lynched For Climbing Pyramid In Chichen Itza

In total disregard of the rules of the archaeological site of Chichen Itza, a foreigner of Spanish origin decided to climb the pyramid of El Castillo, which immediately generated the fury of the tourists. The fact derived that the visitors demanded the imprisonment of the woman, whom they also physically assaulted. The National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) announced that they will proceed legally against the offender, who has already been handed over to the personnel of the Yucatán Public Security Secretariat (SSP).
