Couple Creates Autism Friendly Caravans For Families
by PamelaChu
A couple have created a niche business in the form of Autism-friendly caravans! Alan Berry, 49, and his wife, Jenny, 42, were shocked to find there were no holidays catering to the needs of children with Autism after their son Lucas, 16, was diagnosed at an early age. The couple, from St Helen’s, UK, decided to set up their own caravans with specific themes related to gaming, equipped with a range of sensory toys and items Lucas was able to play with, feeling like a home away from home. After sharing footage of their completed caravan online, the pair received numerous messages from people asking if they could book it themselves and have gone from strength to strength.
