Durango government asks residents of its communities to "take care of their doctors".

This Saturday, the Durango State Attorney General's Office reported the arrest of a subject who is attributed with the murder of the 24 year old medical intern Eric Andrade inside a community clinic in the municipality of Pueblo Nuevo. Authorities reported that a group of about 9 armed and drugged people arrived at the clinic to demand attention to two of its members in a state of intoxication, Eric Andrade was beginning with the review when he was killed. This Saturday the doctors of the capital held a demonstration in the vicinity of the facilities of the Durango Fair, when they were informed of the arrest of the alleged perpetrator, they left the place. The government of Durango attended the demonstration and assured that they are working to reinforce the security of the doctors, however, they also made the inhabitants of the communities responsible for the security of the health personnel. During the next few days, several demonstrations by health personnel are planned in various parts of the state to demand better security conditions from the government.
