"The streets are ours": How the LGBT+ Pride March was experienced in Mexico City

The LGBTTTIQ+ Pride March 2022 took place in Mexico City amid colorful costumes, banners, flags and makeup. Thousands of people gathered to celebrate sexual diversity and gender identity, as well as to demand respect for the rights and freedom to exercise diversity. Collectives, activists and civil society gathered in a colorful caravan from the Angel of Independence to the Zócalo amidst dancing, dances and an explosion of color and freedom.
