#VIRAL: Influencer compares yeezy sneakers with Coppel sneakers

Today, sneakers have dominated the fashion market; young and not so young spend thousands of pesos to bring the best sneaker designs on their feet. Whether it's Nike or Adidas, tennis models have become highly coveted for their design, collaborations, meaning and of course, price. That's why an influencer, has compared a pair of the most bought and sought after sneakers with a pair from a department store. It was the Nike brand that dominated the market during 2020, registering 28 billion dollars and in second place was Adidas with 13 billion dollars, followed by Puma and Under Armour. On the other hand, there are some brands that have been in charge of offering products similar to the top of the market, where the cost makes a big difference with the originals. This happens with Yeezy sneakers, famous for their exclusivity and high price that hovers around four thousand Mexican pesos. It has been an influencer called "Chico Gucci" who has been responsible for comparing a pair of Yeezy sneakers with those of a brand that has designed a similar model that is distributed at a low price and sold in Coppel stores. Among the points that the influencer touches on when comparing the original Yeezy with the similar ones from Coppel, find that the laces are "technically the same" and that they also have the classic brand stripe, but that the silhouette and size of the sole has a considerable change. The influencer commented that although some differences are noticeable, buying this pair at Coppel is not a bad option. "I like Coppel's better", "deny me that Coppel's look better", "I don't know why, but I like Coppel's better", "Coppel's are nicer", "obviously they don't pass the original test, but they do look the same and they are cool", among other thoughts that seem to receive this pair of sneakers in an assertive way.
