Mexican woman suffers sexual abuse in Qatar, denounces and is sentenced to 100 lashes

The Mexican Paola Shietekat Sedas had the job of her dreams, to be part of the Organizing Committee of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, but she never imagined that this would lead her to an ordeal outside her country. The economist and anthropologist suffered sexual abuse in the Asian country, and for denouncing it, she was sentenced to seven years in prison and 100 lashes.
