A family outing turned into a tense encounter with a giant alligator

Paul Cook took his sons for a canoe ride in Florida, but the experience became much less pleasant when they spotted an alligator swimming nearby. Cook was going down the Wekiva River in Sanford with his sons Nolen, 17, and Rocco, 15, when the teens spotted a huge alligator. Prior to this encounter, Paul had seen many alligators, so he wasn't as scared as his sons, fortunately. He did, however, enjoy trying to scare his sons by splashing in the water while the gator was nearby. A tense moment that they captured through this video where we can see the huge alligator dive into the water.
