Speeding Train SMASHES into Elephants in Rural India

Tragedy struck a remote Indian trainline when two elephants wandered onto the tracks. The animals were approaching to cross the tracks in Assam state when they were hit. Wild elephants often stray into human habitations this time of year, when rice fields are ready for harvesting.
