Several Midwestern states report record number of cases

This Thursday Illinois recorded a record number of diagnoses with more than 6,300 cases in a single day, and more than 9,600 deaths since the pandemic began. In Wisconsin and Texas, hospitals are overwhelmed by the increase in contagion.
