#OMG: Tandem parachute jump goes wrong at 12,000 feet

Kristian Porreca, 24, wanted to put some excitement into his life, and decided that skydiving over Wollongong, Australia, was the best way to do it. Situated at over 12,000 feet, and joined by a tandem skydive professional like Mick, Kristian jumped out of the plane and began to swoop with the bad luck that the parachute ropes were twisted. Because Kristian was fast, the couple avoided disaster by turning in the opposite direction to untangle the lines, which caused Kristian and Mick to land safely on the ground. Kristian said, "After watching several videos where things went wrong, I knew I had to kick the air to take advantage of the momentum and turn while Mick used his hands to pull the ropes apart.
