Nurse is relearning to walk after a leg amputation

Nurse Sette Buenaventura, 26, was working on the front lines of the coronavirus when she noticed a shooting pain in her leg. That was in April, during the first big wave of the pandemic, when physical exhaustion was the order of the day. So the young woman blamed those pains on the result of strenuous work shifts at the Royal Salford Hospital and ignored them. However, when the pain became so unbearable that she could no longer walk, she decided to seek help from her colleagues and tests revealed that she had a sarcoma in her right leg. As a result, Sette Buenaventura had to have his leg amputated in order to save his life, and now he is learning to walk again thanks to a prosthesis.
