Death, destruction and mass evacuations in California due to fires and extreme heat

More than 500 active fires, some out of control, have the state in emergency. As of this Saturday, six deaths have been reported and there is also concern about intense drought and electrical storms. California's firefighters are running out of resources and the flames have exceeded their capacity for action, so reinforcements are expected from 10 states across the country.
