Fire at the Repsol refinery in Puertollano due to a lightning strike

The Repsol refinery in Puertollano is suffering from a massive fire on Monday. First thing in the morning, a tank exploded after a lightning strike in the area. The local fire brigade has activated both the internal and external emergency plans while the damage caused by this event to the facilities in this municipality of Castilla-La Mancha is being investigated.
