#VIRAL: ‘Living statue' targeting President Trump pops up in DC's Freedom Plaza

Three living statues alluding to episodes such as the recent racial protests and the debate on the return of children to schools in the midst of the pandemic were installed Friday in different parts of the U.S. capital in protest against President Donald Trump. The digital publication The Hill published photographs of characters with gold paint on their bodies and placed on a black stone base with gold letters. The staging was led by the "Trump Statue Initiative" at strategic points in Washington DC. One of the statues shows the ruler holding a bible while a Black Lives Matters protester is beaten by an officer. On the stone that serves as the foundation, it reads about the ruler: "destroyer of civil rights and liberties.
