#NYPD officers beaten by protesters while making arrest

Disturbing footage of a vicious attack by a protester on New York police officers, with one man attacking them with a CANE, has emerged online. Officers were assaulted when marchers met 'counter-protesters' on Brooklyn Bridge. Among injured was the police chief who only last month showed his solidarity with other protesters by 'taking the knee'.
