Coronavirus Cases Surge in Southern US States as Lockdown Eases

Coronavirus cases in the US have risen to more than 40,000 per day. It’s the fourth time in the past five days researchers have seen these worryingly high case numbers. Researcher Dr Anthony Fauci has warned the number could dramatically increase up to 100,000 per day.
