Avianca Airlines Declares Bankruptcy in the United States due to Coronavirus Impact

The second largest airline in Latin America, Avianca Holdings declared bankruptcy on Sunday in the United States, as the deadline for bond payments approached and with requests for help from the Colombian government to overcome the coronavirus crisis so far without success.
