#VIDEO_ Mexican mayor kidnapped, tied to a truck and dragged around the town by angry dwellers

Jorge Luis Escandon Hernandez, the #mayor of #LasMargaritas, #Mexico, failed to fulfill his election promises about repairing the roads, so some residents decided to take drastic action. CCTV cameras captured them kidnapping Hernandez in broad daylight and then dragging him from the back of the truck around the town. Fortunately, the mayor escaped incident without serious injury. Eleven people were arrested that day, and 10 were injured in the fracas.
