Fault in Apple's FaceTime allows you to be spied on

A security flaw recently discovered in FaceTime, Apple's video calling application, allows the user to hear and even see their interlocutor on an iPhone before they have even responded, raising problems about the confidentiality of the system. The 'bug', indicated first on the website of Apple products 9to5Mac.com, was also reflected in several media. A video posted on the Twitter account @BmManski shows the ease with which this bug allows you to spy on the sound coming from an iPhone connected via FaceTime. An Apple support page states that FaceTime is "temporarily unavailable" from 7:16 p.m., due to a "problem" in progress that is not specified. An Apple statement, quoted in the US media, asserts that the iPhone manufacturer is aware of the problem and has identified a correction that will be introduced in an update of the software over the course of the week.
