Doughnut Burgers With Candied Bacon

Instructions 1. To make the candied bacon, preheat oven to 350F. Place bacon in a single layer on a foil lined sheet. Sprinkle brown sugar on top of bacon strips. Bake for 18-25 minutes or until crispy, making sure to turn bacon over after 10 minutes. Remove from oven and place on a wire rack for cooling. 2. To make the burgers, divide ground chuck into 4 portions, shape into burger patties, and season with salt and pepper. 3. Grill to desired doneness, putting cheese on top to melt shortly before removing them. 4. Top each split doughnut with a cheesy burger and 2 slices of candied bacon, torn in half.
