Paris roads closed as Seine continues to rise

The river Seine remained flooded after torrential downpours further upstream causing further disruption in transportation across Paris on Wednesday. Due to days of heavy rainfall in the Seine's tributaries water levels in the French capital continued to rise. Some were forced to use a small boat to make the crossing to their place of work, as roads and walkways near the riverbanks have become flooded.
